Trans & non-binary inclusion in football - Clwb PAWB Summit 2022

The Trans & non-binary inclusion in football workshop provides an opportunity for Equality Champions and other Club Members to develop their understanding of trans inclusion in sport at grass-roots level.

The workshop will be delivered by Verity Smith who is the Trans Inclusion in Sport Officer at Mermaids UK.

The workshop is interactive and engaging and provides a safe place for learning, where participants can share ideas and good practice.

Workshop aims:

• To understand and support trans, non-binary and gender diverse inclusion at your Club.
• To learn what inclusion looks like for gender diverse people in sport.

The workshop forms part of the CLWB PAWB Summit, will take place online via Zoom and is limited in numbers.

Verity Smith

Verity is the Trans Inclusion in Sport Officer at Mermaids UK. Verity played elite women’s rugby for a number of years and now plays in the wheelchair rugby league UK Super League. He is a leading voice on trans inclusion in sport.
