This summer will see Women & Girls’ football at the forefront across the world, with the FIFA Women’s’ World Cup kicking off on Thursday 20th July.
As Women’s football will have enormous exposure across the Summer, more girls and women across the world will be excited by the opportunity of getting out on the pitch, many for the first time. To support our clubs and facilities across Wales and to invite girls and women into their environments, the FAW will be hosting “Creating your Environment: FOR HER” workshops, focusing on making your facilities inclusive, creating a long-lasting Club culture for all and on pitch considerations.
During these workshops the FAW will work with each Club or facility to create an action plan which will enable women and girls to feel fully welcomed within your environment.
Whether you are starting a girls & women’s football team for the first time, or want to expand on your offering, these workshops are built to give you the tips to support all women and girls within your environment.
The three workshop dates are:
Thursday 27th July @ Colliers Park – 6-8PM
Wednesday 2nd August Online – 6-8PM
Wednesday 9th August @ Dragon Park – 6-8PM
The workshops are free to attend and open to all.
