Anti-Discrimination

Say no to discrimination

The FAW operates a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination and harassment.

All complaints, concerns, and allegations must be investigated thoroughly through either the Club's Grievance process or the FAW’s for incidents involving an external individual or Club.

A Club should develop and monitor a policy (and procedures) on reporting and dealing with incidents of discrimination for anyone associated with the Club.   This policy and its procedures should be communicated to all Club members and any other relevant people.

You can adapt the Template Anti-discrimination Policy to create a policy for your Club.

Reporting Discrimination

Reporting discriminatory incidents demonstrates discrimination is not acceptable in football, promoting a positive ethos where everyone is valued and given equal opportunities.

The Club should encourage all members to report any discrimination they experience through either the Club's reporting channels or the FAW's reporting procedures.
